Tomer enlisted in the Golani Brigade with one clear goal in mind – to become the best soldier he could be.
This goal drove him to invest great effort in his military training, dedicating all his free time to physical fitness and running. Even during his leave from the army, Tomer found time to participate in running competitions and frequented the gym, often inspiring many friends to join him.

Alongside his physical training, Tomer was deeply Zionist in every fiber of his being. Before his enlistment, he was a student at the “Shachar” pre-military academy in Nitzan, where he stood out for his love of hikes and journeys throughout the country.

Tomer’s motto was “No excuses!” Just as he demanded dedication and perseverance from his fellow soldiers and friends, he held himself to the same standard, becoming a role model for uncompromising commitment and combat — until his final day.

Tomer was full of humor and wit, intelligent and curious, a loving and beloved young man. In his death, he left us — his friends and family — with a legacy to carry on: a path of love and giving.
