We are here to help you!

Feeling lost? You’re in the right place.
We’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions and clear answers to help you understand everything you can do here on MemoLink.

I’m a bereaved family member—how do I create a page for my loved one?

  • When you register, select that you are part of a bereaved family.

  • Wait for our team to approve your status—we only allow verified families to create memorial pages.

  • Once approved, click the “Add Story” button (the arrow icon in the top-right corner).

  • Fill in your loved one’s details and submit to create their dedicated page.

What is a Baby Page?

  • If you’ve named your child after a fallen hero, you can create a dedicated Baby Page where the bereaved family can view what you’ve shared—text, photos, or any other memories.

  • Baby Pages are private by default, meaning only you and the hero’s family can see them. During creation, you have the option to mark the page public if you’d like everyone to view it.

  • To create a Baby Page, click the “Add Your Baby” button at the bottom of the fallen hero’s Story page and fill in the details and photos as you wish.

  • All new Baby Pages are reviewed by our team before going live.

  • Once approved, your Baby Page will appear in the Babies section at the bottom of the hero’s Story page, alongside other children named in their honor.

What makes your site different from a regular memorial platform?

Our goal is to create a direct connection between a bereaved family and those who have been inspired by the life story of their fallen loved one, embraced their values, and chosen to name their child in their honor.
This kind of tribute happens all the time—but until now there was no platform that let you reach out to the family and share your gesture.
MemoLink was created specifically to make that heartfelt connection possible.

How can I let a bereaved family know I named my child after their loved one?

  • Go to the fallen hero’s Story page in the “Stories” page.

  • Click the "Message the Family" button in the top-right corner.

  • Write your message explaining that you named your child in their loved one’s honor, then submit.

  • Because this is sensitive information, your message will be reviewed by our team before it’s delivered.

  • Once approved, you’ll be able to chat privately with the family. You’ll find it in the Chats page.

  • There’s also an "Add Your Baby" option at the very bottom of the Story page—click it to share details and photos of your child named in their honor. For a full explanation of baby pages, see the question “What is a Baby Page?”

If I personally knew the person in a story, can I leave a comment?

  • Yes! On the fallen hero’s Story page, click the "Create Memory" button in the top-right corner.

  • Write your memory or anecdote about your loved one and submit.

  • Because this is sensitive content, your entry will be reviewed by our team before it’s published.

  • Once approved, your memory will appear in the Memories section at the bottom of that person’s page.

How do I find a specific Story

  • Use the Search field at the top of "Stories" page to look up names or keywords.

  • Refine your results with our built-in filters—by values or dates.

  • Click on any result to jump directly to that person’s Story.
